Virtual Contact

The ‘Virtual Contact’ show provides a platform for the burgeoning talents of DjKira and James Warren. Both have gained strong reputations and followings in light of their increasingly popular dj sets. Further more,they have seen their stock rise rapidly as growing forces in the field of remix and production, both in their own rights and as a collaborative force. This success has seen them release on Global Underground, Olaris, Polytechnic Recordings and new imprint, Portable Magic later this year.

This new 2 hour show for Proton Radio will feature a variety of mixes from Kira and James in both solo and joint guises as well as regular guest slots from a galaxy of progressive favourites. You can expect sets featuring a wide variety of new tracks while also paying due respect to the classics. Kira and James will also be using their time to showcase exclusive new tunes both of their own and their friends. Whatever the tune, you can look forward to 2 hours of quality music, meticulously programmed and strong on melody.

James Warren
After completing his PhD in 2004, James Warren has spent the past 4 years or so developing his real musical passions and has concentrated heavily on DJing and music producing. James works solo, with KiRA, and also as part of duo Coalesced. His DJ sets regularly receive downloads in the thousands. (read more)
