Malone
Now entering his ninth year as a DJ, event promoter and music journalist, Ian Malone is very much an ambassador for the breakbeat sound in Cape Town, South Africa. Initially becoming known through his seminal Alternation events (one of which was an afterparty for Garbage and Placebo), Malone has gained much respect locally for his tight, inventive mixing and sharp track selection, and has a solid reputation for rocking the hell out of dancefloors with his energetic sets.

Lud Dub
Originally starting out as a rootsdubdancehall DJ, Lud Dub formed Cosmic Vibe Sound in 1992 w best friends Billy Culture and Urbun. While holding numerous residencies, and playing in the SF Bay Area Reggae scene, Cosmic Vibe Sound was focused on spreading conscious roots and dancehall music with a message. With a weekly radio show on KSUH, and guest spots on KZSU, and KFJC, Cosmic Vibe was promoting their sound in the clubs and on the airwaves.

Mezza Breaks
From the backrooms of dodgy Kent boozers to playing dance tents at festivals it certainly can't be said that the Mezzas haven't done the rounds.
Canterbury boys Thom Burgess and John Ricketts aka Mezza Breaks started playing as party DJs in the late 90s. Mashing up big beat into trance into house, literally anything to get the party started. 5 years and a whole host of ridiculous stage names later Mezza Breaks are fast gaining a reputation to be at the forefront of the Kent breaks scene with a whole host of nights under their belt.
