Toes in the Sand

The label known for keeping true to the roots of the progressive sound expands its deep vibes to the world of Proton Radio. Featuring exclusive mixes from label artists and top local DJs from Cleveland, Ohio (the home of Toes), this show promises to bring you music that stirs your heart and soul, not 8-bit Nintendo video-game soundtracks. Hosted by your loyal servant and Toes in the Sand co-founder Deviant.

As the name implies, the music of Toes in the Sand Recordings is evocative of perfect moments that make you say, "Aaah." You know how good it feels when you're on the beach, running your feet through the sand, taking in a warm sea breeze. Toes in the Sand has captured through its releases those feelings of joy and contemplation. Specializing in progressive house and progressive breaks, our releases place an emphasis on musicality, arrangement, and composition. Our artists and remixers include Steve Porter, Andrew K, Naveen G, Siberian Son, Alican & Soner, Brahma, Michael Lanning, Drew Nichols, Kingkade, and many more of the world's rising talents. Keep it deep!

He has also proven his ability to warm up the dance floor, opening for Sandra Collins, BT, Max Graham, Jondi (read more)

Masque
Javier Labarca (Masque) was born in Santiago, Chile in 1986. Since he was only a kid, he always showed interest for musical instruments what made him play guitar in diverse rock bands with his friends. He has been producing music for a few years now, starting with Hip Hop instrumentals and experimenting with trip hop. Later he started listening electronic music, especially house, being his maximum influences Sasha and Hernán Cattaneo, thing that made him start producing principally progressive house. (read more)
