Transitions

The most important radio show in house music needs no introduction, but here it goes anyway. John Digweed's long-standing weekly 2 hour program is legendary, airing for many years exclusively on Kiss 100 in London but now syndicated around the world and internet. In 2008, the show comes to Proton Radio.

Expect upfront & unreleased tunes dished up by John Digweed alongside finely tuned guest mixes that are almost always exclusively prepared just for the show.

John Digweed
If you're not an avid follower of dance music but are tuned into popular culture at all you've likely experienced music touched by the hands of John Digweed. Originally hailing from England but having clearly arrived on the global scene over a decade ago John has long since cemented his name in the pages of dance music history.

His list of achievements is groundbreaking to say the least. Highlights of which would be the first proper dj mix compilation ("Renaissance", done with Sasha), being the first British dj to hold a residency at what was then the world's most well known club in NYC (Twilo, also with Sasha) as well as having remixed music by Danny Tenaglia, Underworld, Quincy Jones and New Order. Andrew Weatherall
Andrew's DJ career really started to take off when he met Danny Rampling at skater Bobby's party that he played at in Chapel Market, Islington, and Danny invited him to play at his club night Shoom. Terry and Andrew became regular Shoom DJ's, playing the upstairs room there, and also at Paul Oakenfold's Future / Spectrum nights and Nicky Holloway's Trip. They also did their own parties and started a record label under the name of Boys Own Recordings. Along with Pete Heller (who was also a Shoom DJ), engineer Hugo Nicholson and singer Anna Haigh, they released two singles as Bocca Juniors on the label, "Raise (53 Steps to Heaven)" and "Substance".
