DJ KYU
Kyu's love for music started at an early age of 8. He was classically trained in piano and violin for over 10 years. Always looking to expand his musically knowledge, he discovered EDM (Electronic Dance Music) in 1998. He started out by seeing live performances of djs such as PVD, Steve Lawler, Sasha and Digweed, Lee Burridge, Danny Howells and Richie Hawtin. Inspired by the musicality of all these djs and feeling he could add a unique aspect to EDM, he entered the world of deejaying. In 1999, he started his dj career playing at Recess in NYC. In 2004, he started a weekly party called, "Ignite", to highlight nyc local talent, where he played along side local djs such as Bill Patrick, Dennis Rodgers, Camea, Elon and DJ Sense, who have since then become world-class djs.
