An easy to use interface and continuously aggressive business model has secured Beatport as the #1 site on the internet to download electronic music singles.

Elektroaktivisten (I <3 Electro) is blog-styled community offering recorded live sets from around the world and internet, offering heaps of mixes to download every day from various venues including Proton Radio. Based out of Germany, the site has two admins, and is looking to provide a redesign in the near future.

2. Hybridized
The leading online community for progressive house and progressive breaks, featuring free mix downloads from resident Proton DJs such as Jody Wisternoff, Greg Benz, Micah, and Shiloh. Hybridized's mission statement is "to contain as many high quality sets from our artists as possible while maintaining the full support of each artist". Not to be missed for any progressive fan, this site's online community is filled with passionate listeners, DJs, and artists.

3. Andro.hu (Hungary)
While other guys were playing football and picking up girls, 13-year-old Gábor Baki (aka Andro) was sitting at home in front of his computer. After playing a lot with strategy and shoot 'em up games he discovered a program called Impulse Tracker. Making music was fun for him, but deep inside he knew he could do better. (read the full bio). Well, now he has. Hungarian DJ Andro came to Proton Radio with fellow Hungarian artists Yvel & Tristan and Snake Sedrick, together hosting the monthly Indigo radio show.

4. Troonik
An online resource for DJ playlists, charts, and tracklistings-- and as of recently, a forum. Keep tabs on what the latest DJs are playing. Acclaimed international shows such as Digweed's Kiss FM and Tong's Essential Mix along with hundreds of other DJs are featured, along with a rating system for DJs by genre and allows users to provide their own feedback.

5. Mercury Server
When it comes to underground electronic music communities Mercury Server is a permanent fixture for addicts looking for the latest DJ mixes and gossip. At some point a radio station, Mercury Server is now a dedicated music forum hosting heaps of DJ mixes for its active user base and a growing list of features (web hosting, podcasting, show archives).

6. Stammheim Kassel und Aufschwung Ost
We don't speak German, but according to the Babelfish translation this is a website dedicated to "the 2 best clubs in Germany". "One World. One Love." The definitive portal for progressive house music, this site features preview and reviews of new releases. Check out the weekly Progcast or active community forums!

8. Global Underground
The most important compilation series in electronic dance music and one of the principal sources of inspiration for the founding of Proton Radio. Home of compilations from Oakenfold, Sasha, Digweed, and many other tier 1 DJs. GU has also recently relaunched its GU Music imprint for vinyl and digital singles. Also home to one of the most vocal and prominent message boards for our scene.

9. Strongarm Sessions
The Strongarm Sessions has become something of an electronic institution during the five-years since its inception. Hosted from day one by DJ/Producer, Elite Force, the show started out as one of a small DIY cluster of shows on Nubreaks.com, graduating to a weekly throwdown on Breaks FM, and for the past two years has become one of the highest rated shows on Proton Radio. A new show is broadcast roughly once a fortnight (2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 2pm UK time), with the archives appearing the following day on the Strongarm Sessons website. These shows are available as MP3 downloads after they've been aired as either podcasts, and RSS feeds, or best of all TORRENTS.

XclusivetraX.com is an online music technology that specializes in exclusive music content. We launched our site over 3 years ago with Phase 1 - Hip Hop. We are currently the web's premiere source for exclusive hip hop audio and video content with a daily reach of 8000 to 10,000 users. We pride ourselves on delivering exclusive content to our users as fast and as conveniently as possible. We have our own Channel on Sprint Radio with shows that feature artists/content from the site.
