Select resident DJs of Proton Radio are now glorified label managers on Proton Music. Available digitally on Beatport and beyond, these imprints are dedicated to releasing the artists and unsigned tunes featured on the station. Each music label is developed and creatively controlled by a host of one of our radio shows.
Proton Music was founded in April of 2005 by Proton Radio director and Particles host Jason Wohlstadter (aka Jay Epoch). The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home.

Out of Argentina comes Sick Watona from Ricky Ryan (aka Can Costa), host of Feedback Radio on Proton. The label is an outlet for the biggest tracks in his crate. Originally co-founded with Israeli DJ/producer Shlomi Aber, Sick Watona now comes to Proton Music with renewed force.
Featuring artists such as Chris Micali, 16 Bit Lolitas, Sultan, and many more. Expect only masterpieces of the epic variety.
After releasing 3 successful EPs and their debut artist album on Proton Music, Ogi Gee Cash & Synchronized decided to launch their own label based on their popular radio show, the Balkan Connection. Their aim is to unite talents of the progressive house sound from the Balkan region and the world over-- from established names to upcoming talents on the way to conquer the world stage of electronic music.

Proton Particles is the personal label of Jay Epoch, a breeding ground for upcoming artists and home to a variety of sounds that, although diverse, can always be found on the weekend during the Particles radio show. Emotional, melodic, atmospheric techno, deep house, progressive breaks, and progressive house.
The foundation of this label is built on the seasonal compilations that are released each Quarter in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Featuring a collection of tracks from both established & upcoming artists, the LPs act as a sampler for what's to come and also a vetting process for new producers, who if successful, go on to single, EP, and remix releases on this label and beyond.

Without trying to pigeonhole their sound, *klangwelt very much picks up where Border Community left off. Davis & May present their second label with Proton Music which specializes in incredibly melodic, theatrical, emotional sounds from mostly unknown, upcoming, and independent producers.
Lowbit Records was formed in early 2008 by Swedish duo Bastards of Funk and Sonic Union. Together they have released music on labels such as Aurium Recordings, Powerplant Recordings and Commonwealth Recordings and have been getting support from almost all the major DJ's in the world.
The style of LBR is a mix of tech house / techno and progressive house, all with a funky, dirty and groovy common base. After one year of successful releases, Ogi Gee Cash's Balkan Connection label began to receive much support from a growing roster of artists from South America. Leading the pack was Nicholas Van Orton, who has taken the reigns of the weekly Balkanians radio show.
Now Nicholas teams up with Ogi to launch the Balkan Connection South America sublabel, providing a home and community for the talent based in that region. The label specializes in a variety of genres, including techno & progressive house.

The sounds of our Elëfant come from the machinations of one Enrique Vanegas, known on Proton Radio as Cor Blimey: DJ and host behind the indie Radioactivity show. His new label, like his monthly show, will focus on new, upcoming, and underexposed talent in and around the Techno genre.
