Each music label is developed and creatively controlled by a host of one of our radio shows.
Proton Music was founded in April of 2005 by Proton Radio director and Particles host Jason Wohlstadter (aka Jay Epoch). The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home.
The label aims to capture the variety of genres played on Proton Radio while keeping true to Jay Epoch's music taste: atmospheric and melodic electronica.
Out of Argentina comes Sick Watona from Ricky Ryan (aka Can Costa), host of Feedback Radio on Proton. The label is an outlet for the biggest tracks in his crate. Originally co-founded with Israeli DJ/producer Shlomi Aber, Sick Watona now comes to Proton Music with renewed force.
Featuring artists such as Chris Micali, 16 Bit Lolitas, Sultan, and many more. Expect only masterpieces of the epic variety.
Particles is the personal label of Jay Epoch, a breeding ground for upcoming artists and home to a variety of sounds that, although diverse, can always be found on the weekend during the Particles radio show. Emotional, melodic, atmospheric techno, deep house, progressive breaks, and progressive house.
The foundation of this label is built on the seasonal compilations that are released each Quarter in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Featuring a collection of tracks from both established & upcoming artists, the LPs act as a sampler for what's to come and also a vetting process for new producers, who if successful, go on to single, EP, and remix releases on this label and beyond.

After one year of successful releases, Ogi Gee Cash's Balkan Connection label began to receive much support from a growing roster of artists from South America. Leading the pack was Nicholas Van Orton, who has taken the reigns of the weekly Balkanians radio show.
Now Nicholas teams up with Ogi to launch the Balkan Connection South America sublabel, providing a home and community for the talent based in that region. The label specializes in a variety of genres, including techno & progressive house.

Olaris Records releases fine electronic music from New York City, managed by Proton Radio resident DJ Royal Sapien, host of the Royal Sounds radio show.
One label wasn't enough for Ricky Ryan. Where Sick Watona features more established names, his second imprint Avangardia specializes in new and upcoming artists from around the globe.
Expect more obscure and off kilter progressive tech house beats with a bit of disco flavor as only Ricky Ryan could serve up.
Chloe Harris is one of Proton's longest running show hosts, presenting the downtempo B-Sides every week on the station and more recently, the monthly uptempo Further show. Further was initially Chloe's first show, even before B-Sides, back when she was resident on Seattle's GrooveTech radio station. In 2009 she relaunched the brand first as a radio show again but now bcomes a music label too.
Spring Tube was founded in the autumn of 2009 by Russian producer/DJ duo East Sunrise as the label's heads and by Latvian DJ/producer Slang as A&R manager. They are focused on the high-quality, emotional and melodic progressive music from artists all over the world. The releases are available digitally on Beatport. The label's roster is open for young talents and also for the already-established artists.
Vancouver's Joel Armstrong, host of the monthly Dot Dot radio show, has relaunched his music label with Proton Music. 80Hz-Digital is hand picked music from Pole Folder, Belgium based DJ/producer Benoit Franquet, and host of the monthly radio show 80Hz Sessions on Proton.
Tide Pool is about half-finished thoughts, tools, dubs, edits, and all those other words that electronic music likes best.
