Jay Epoch's Particles music label returns to its Progressive Breaks roots with "Ex Machina", the Abdomen Burst extravaganza featured on this past Winter's compilation. Two of the genres defining figures are back in action: Fretwell and Baunder, each with breakbeat remixes! Joining them is Proton resident Nick Hogendoorn, host of the "Below Sea Level" radio show. All three remixes mark debut appearances, but somehow they feel like family already.

Nick's remix is as funky and creative as I've come to expect! Fretwell remix reminds me of Planisphere, well done too, and Baunder's mix is very mellow. Really nice diverse pack of mixes!

All 3 shining brightly here. Baunder remix has a great vibe reminiscent of classic prog breaks from yesteryear, Nick Hogendoorn with a tasty groove and Tim Fretwell with a full on prog breaks monster.
