Proton Music cornered two mad scientists for our latest release -- the Swede Karl Johan and the Frenchman Loacs Erepams, both appearing with their first remix for the label. Both have done a number on Mondstrahl's "Dark Face", the dark & twisted techno alter-ego of the Russian Moonbeam brothers Vitaliy & Pavel Khvaleyev, who are celebrating the release of their third artist album on their own label, Moonbeam Digital. Moonbeam have been residents on Proton Radio since 2007.

Karl Johan remix is a sublime deeper interpretation of an original, whose opening has echoes of Luis Junior's BG for me. Loacs Erepams also has a great experimental feel with added groove.

Sick remixes. Deep driven stuff from Karl Johan, builds the tension slowly, and the release after the breakdown is just fabulous. Surely gonna work in the peak hours.
