In the first Proton single release of 2006, Proton Music moguls Blake Potter and Corey Spengler (together as Opencloud) team up with Norwegian duo Thomas Nokling and Stian Klo (together as Seyton).
The original piece is a twisted work of breakbeat mayhem that could only be the product of these four mad scientists. And if that’s not enough we’ve got #1 Beatport best-selling artist Rob Mooney teaming up yet again with Danny Graham after their debut on Proton last year with 'Just Testing' while new comer Colin C. (The Pushers/Deeptone) also joins in with his first Proton release.
Seyton is the brainchild of Norwegian duo Thomas Nøkling and Stian Klo. They grew up in Bergen and Harstad respectively, but joined forces a couple of years back and are now room mates. Stian's two labels, Praesul and Furry (together with Ozgur Can) have been picking up steam while Thomas's Manipura outfit has graced labels suchs as Loöq, Only, and Minimal.
Opencloud have been on fire lately, with a slew of highly acclaimed remixes on Proton and a forthcoming follow-up to their original 'Life EP' on Proton Music. Their productions have gained support from some of the scene's most respected DJs, including James Zabiela, Hybrid, Phil K., and Way Out West. Their most recent fan, Pole Folder, commissioned them to remix his classic "Protected" track, which will see light later in 2006 on Proton Music!

Danny Graham & Rob Mooney return to Proton Music after their 'Just Testing' release which received a 9 out of 10 review at Progressive-Sounds. Since then, Rob Mooney's release on Punch Funk entitled 'Feeling Electro' has dominated the Beatport charts, peaking at #1!
Both artists are affiliated with Punch Funk, a hot new music label and promotions agency on the southern coast of of the United Kingdom which has been creating quite a stir with their recent parties, single releases, and new Proton Radio show hosted by Danny Graham himself. Mooney is Punch Funk's latest star, featured on James Zabiela's recent 'Utilities' CD and receiving massive support from the likes of Eric Prydz to Nic Fanciulli.

Colin Cameron Allrich’s (Consoul / Deeptone / Slighter / The Pushers) passion for electronic music spawned from his early grasp of 808 State, John Rocca and Orbital, to his current love of breaks and progressive beats. Working for one of Los Angeles longest running dance record stores (DMC Records), Colin was able to put his knowledge to good use as the Progressive voice of the store for its final two years.
In addition to joining the Proton Music roster, Colin is now the latest addition to the Progressive-Sounds stable-- so we'll be hearing a lot more of him in 2006.
