Joel Armstrong, champion of Proton Radio's 'Lost in the Moment' remix competition & artist behind last year's best selling 'Serenity' teams up with upcoming progressive prodigy Gerwin Koudijs for the first release of remixes from Jay Epoch's 'Mono No Aware' Particles compilation. 'Live Zone' is the first single taken from CPM's upcoming 'Decathect' LP for Proton Music, to be released later this year.
"Like almost anything this Koudijs makes, clear sounds, good arrangments, not quickly unfinished work like most do lately" - Eddy Good (Star FM)
"This is great, big room sound with lots of effects-- no aftertaste and less filling. I'm going to play this tonight." - Dirty (WEVL Memphis)
"The original and Gerwin Koudijs mixes are great but Joel's reworking does the business for me. Love that big bleepy bassline combined with Joel's trademark atmospherics. Proton's 'release a week' is putting other labels to shame. Keep the quality coming!" - Grid System (N-Code Music)
Out of Lousianna comes one of the most promising new talents for 2006.
